Key moments
80'Michael Salisbury sticks with his original decision after the VAR review. No infringement and the goal stands!
79'Wait! Referee Michael Salisbury has indicated he is going to review the Aston Villa goal using VAR. It’s probably to see if there was an offside in the build-up.
77'0 - 1Perfectly taken free kick! Douglas Luiz sends a cross in and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) leaps high to connect with it on the edge of the 6-yard box. His close-range header goes inside the right post and he makes it 0:1.
65'Houston, we have a problem! The referee has indicated that there will be a VAR review of the goal to look at a possible foul. The Southampton players aren’t happy.
