How an accumulator works
An accumulator combines selections into one bet. For winning selections, multiply the decimal odds together, then multiply by your stake. A losing selection makes that accumulator return zero.
For a hypothetical 10.00 stake at 1.80, 2.20 and 1.50, the combined odds are 5.94. If all three win, the return is 59.40 and the profit is 49.40. Use “Try an example” to load those numbers.
The calculator accepts up to 20 selections in a standard accumulator. One selection is treated as a single bet. Your prices are entered manually; the tool does not fetch live odds or assess the chance of winning.
System bets and custom folds
A system places several separate bets from the same selections. A Trixie contains three doubles and a treble; a Yankee contains six doubles, four trebles and a fourfold. The preset combinations follow the standard definitions described in Betfair’s bet-type guide.
Enter a stake for each combination. A Trixie with a 1.00 unit stake costs 4.00 in total. The calculator shows that total before you use the result, and lists the return from every combination.
Preset options include Patent, Lucky 15, Canadian, Lucky 31, Heinz, Lucky 63, Super Heinz and Goliath. Lucky presets include singles; bookmaker-specific consolation payments or promotional bonuses are not included.
Choose “Custom folds” to select singles, doubles, trebles or larger combinations. Systems support up to eight selections. You can inspect both the summary by fold size and the complete list of individual bets.
Three formats, the same underlying price
Decimal odds include the returned stake. Fractional odds show the profit relative to your stake. American odds show either the profit on a 100 stake for positive prices, or the stake needed for 100 profit for negative prices.
For example, decimal 2.50, fractional 3/2 and American +150 describe the same price. Switch the odds format to convert valid entries. Converted values may be rounded for display; calculations retain the original price until an entry is edited.
Winning, losing and void selections
“Won / assumed win” lets you estimate a potential payout before a match or enter a winning result afterwards. Choose “Lost” to make every combination containing that selection return zero.
A void or pushed selection uses odds of 1.00. A double with one void becomes a single on the other selection. If every selection in a combination is void, that combination refunds its stake.
Each bet’s return is rounded to the nearest 0.01 before totals are added. Actual bookmaker settlement can differ. This tool covers ordinary win-only bets; each-way terms, half wins/losses, dead heats, free bets, taxes and bonuses require separate rules.
Accumulator calculator questions
Does the return include my stake?
Yes. Profit is the return minus the full stake across every combination. A negative profit is shown as a net loss.
Can I enter any currency?
Choose one of the available currency labels. All selections use the same currency. The calculator does not convert exchange rates.
Can I combine selections from the same match?
Related outcomes often cannot be multiplied at their standalone prices. A bookmaker may reject the combination or quote a special combined price. Use this tool for combinations whose prices and settlement rules you have confirmed.
Is this the same as arbitrage?
No. An accumulator needs every required leg to succeed. The arbitrage calculator splits a total stake across opposing outcomes of one market.
